Went thru nine States IN, KY, TN, AL, MS, LA, AR, MO, IL. When I left for the ride my daughter asked if I was going to Louisiana and I told her no Natchez was in Mississippi, but when I got there no hotel rooms because of the construction crews coming to help with the storms, so she was right I wound up in Louisiana to find a room for the night. Had a great trip met a lot of good people on the way. The Trace itself is a fantastic road it winds from Nashville thru Tupelo, Jackson, and then ends in Natchez. I visited Vicksburg and went thru Memphis on the way home.

Yes man, it is a nice ride full of history, and very pretty scenery. Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks guys, I am pretty bummed right now. I lost one of my motorcycle friends last Thursday he was hit by a truck trying to enter a highway. That is him lying in the highway, can not believe they put that in the paper, he is dying.
Then Friday this happens to my Stepdaughter near Conroe TX. She is OK the fireman pulled her out through her window. Glad you guys made it through the storms OK, Peace!

Thanks for asking Red, ya she is fine. I told her not to do much for the next week to make sure everything is OK and she does not pull anything. She used to live in Spring but now she actually lives in Montgomery just off Farm Road 2854 due south of Lake Conroe. I am glad she left Spring and got out into the county. I do Saddle Sore 1000 Iron Butt rides to go see her, takes me 17 to 19 hours on my Green Connie straight thru just over 1000 miles.
